Author Comments

This is a glitchy/ambient/dubstep remix of Brinstar Depths/Kraid's Lair from the Metroid series.

Took me quite some time to get this one right. Pretty proud of this. Criticism is appreciated!

I dunno whether this is really dubstep, considering it seems to be in 3/4 time, but I really like it all the same. I also don't know how much of this is you and how much was taken from something else, so I'll refrain from any further comments so I don't sound like an idiot who doesn't know what he's talking about.

Numi responds:

I'm glad you liked it :D

And while yes, this is obscure for a dubstep track, I think it's just part of a more experimental side of dubstep. It is in 3/4.

You could always give the original track a listen too - just search up Kraid's Lair on YouTube!

Moar like Duchno

It's not exactly dubstep, more like a Technostep or a Duchno riff, and it... I don't know, it's really crackly. Then again, having to upload to MP3 is a real pain and even I feel that burn xD

Keep it up, you'll go places! (Review me too please :D)

Pretty good!

Your song is pretty beasty!
In places it is a little static such as the break at 1:45.
I am not an expert, but you can try increasing the bass a little, since it's dubstep.
However it is you choice, as it does sound okay as is.

Numi responds:

One thing to note, the static parts at 1:45 were on purpose. haha.

I hope to get bass down soon. I thought I nailed it as a pretty bass-ey sound this time around >.<

Anyway, thanks for the review, and glad you liked it!
