I like this. Your flow is a bit off (particularly when you first start your rap), although that can be contributed to the strange beat. Other than that, I can't think of much to complain about.

The sound quality of your mike is good, but I think you could tone the down the reverb on your voice.
You enunciate. Thank you.
The layering of your vocals, when you do use them, is done well. They're just subtle enough to compliment and not overpower the main vocal track. Not everyone can pull it off that well.

Overall, quite a nice track. Keep it up, man.

As a side note, this song reminds me of Samurai Champloo. Which is a plus, in my book.

yea it sounds off because of the funky beat but i think i did a good job of making it sound smooth! ha thanks for listening and for the thoughtful comment. :D

Hip hop with a Habanera beat?! That's damn well near the most original thing I've seen on NG. Totally unreal job. And that lead you picked really does hammer home the old-school vibe you were goin' for. Reminds me of Up In Smoke...

Damn man, sorry it took me so long to get a comment on this! I love the flow and the way you matched the odd time and swing of the beat with your vocals!!! I really love it! I wish that I had eq'd that beat better :( Either way, you killed it homie! I might even suggest turning up your vocals a little bit more.

Good stuff, as usual.

Love the choice of beat, I'm definitely a fan of ExternalIII.

Something about your rapping seems a little jumbled. There's few parts that seem to have one or two too many syllables. It's a little hard to pick them out individually, so I apologize for not pointing out particular places, it's really just this feeling I'm getting.

But, as usual, I still love your overall delivery. Your tone and enunciation are always pretty damn good, and this track is no exception.
