Very well thought out track. I love it when no instrument is looping in the background, the music sounds more alive. Although the singing wasn't bad, it could sound much better, so all the best.

Adam-Beilgard responds:

Yeah, I don't know what's worse, the mixing or my singing - but I'm working on both. I like through-composed music, too; looping is the devil!

Thanks for the review!

aside from the bad stereo mastering.. I do have to admit the vocals to add a lot to it - just wish some things had been recorded or mastered better. I find it really took away from the piece.

8/10

Adam-Beilgard responds:

I swear to god, one of these days I'll spend more than a couple days on a song (I'm a procrastinator with self diagnosed ADD). The vocals are growing on me (even though they're poorly mixed).

Thanks for the review!

The base track was pretty cool, vocals do add something to it. But it's more blues or something...doesn't sound too funky for me. Kudos for the effort on the tracks and vocals though, cool stuff!

Adam-Beilgard responds:

I'm glad you like the bass, I was most excited about the horns, but I think most pleased with the bass.
