Been a while since I've done a trance song, so I figured I'd make a new one... This song was inspired by the sound of a clock (Surprise surprise!)... The song itself however doesn't really have any relevance to the flow of time... I just wanted to use a "tick tock" sound in a song.

All synths (Bass, stab, lead) were made from scratch in Massive... No presets here folks! But yes, I did cheese on the lead... It's pretty much your typical cheese supersaw.

Programs/VSTs used:
FL Studio 10
NI Massive

Hello again, Back-From-Purgatory! Once more I've decided I like this song so very much that I'd love to use it in a video of mine. This one being the first time I go out in WvW. As always you will acquire all credit for your music, a link to your newgrounds and youtube channels and a nice shoutout in the description! At this time my videos are non-commercial however I have been getting numerous offers from TGN, Etatche, and a new GC that just came up named KlawDigital. I'd like to partner with one of these three companies, therefore I'd no longer be noncommercial. Should you wish me to remove your songs from my videos, I will. (Though I'd like to talk via NG mail system and/or Skype or whathaveyou about the subject. Naturally, simply let me know should you wish your music removed.)

Back-From-Purgatory responds:

As always, as long as the video is non-commercial and credit is given, feel free to use my music.

However, if you do sign up with one of these networks and you monetize the video, I would prefer we come up with another agreement. For such matters, please add me on Skype (back-from-purgatory), or PM me here on NG.

Variety is always nice, I like a wide range of music, so it's inevitable that I'll make a wide range of music as well.

I like that deep kick, melody, 1:03 was perfect, also ending was pretty smooth

But still, I cant get out of feeling that it´s more a game song then trance, it just doesnt have that deep feeling in it as most of the trance songs Check out Tiesto - Miss you if you dont know what I mean.

Anyway, it sound good, it was mastered good and have everything it needed to sound finished.

Ou and if you´re going to make pure trance song, PM me when you´ll release it, I would like to hear more stuff from you.

Back-From-Purgatory responds:

Gonna be honest, I don't even know what "pure trance" is... I just write what sounds good to me, if it happens to fall into a certain genre, cool. I never go into writing a track thinking, "I'm gonna write this song in this genre"... I just mash my keyboard or fretboard, and what comes out is what it is.

Glad you like it though, thanks for the review.

Very Nice Bass!

This is very different from your usual mixes. It is very trancish. This seems like the type of track you would hear in a popular flash game here on NG. I hope it makes it into one, actually, because it is VERY catchy. I am totally fucking downloading this track and playing it for my next mix. It is very DJ friendly, since it starts out with a tick tock tick tock. I feel happy that I helped give you the tools :3

That bassline mixed with the chiming and rave riff are PERFECT together.
