Some of it is kinda nice.

I really like the song up to where the fast melody on the piano comes in at around 48 seconds. Although a bit of an overused effect, the thunder sound nice, and the plucky sound and bass sound really good. I love minimal piano parts up to about 50 seconds and after 2:36.
I think the piano feels too lifeless and robotic. The drums seem to be a weaker part of the song as well, they sound a bit 'defaulty'

Id love to hear a whole song thats more laid back and relaxed without trying to put a fast medody over the top as i think the start and end of the song were the highlights for me. You could try adding some more accoustic slower/half time drums over the top for percussion.
:)

Stories and Pringles here, yeah I agree on the piano. I seriously HATE IT! But it's the only thing I can use until I get a real piano unfortunately *sigh* I'm a piano player and I really really want to make piano music so I have to deal with this fake virtual instrument crap in the program I use. You know, I think I'll make a slow version of this song, maybe? I don't know if it will work or not but I can try, gives me something to do ... anyway thanks for the review, totally agree ... 'cept I love fast piano playing x) but slow is nice as well :)
