Wow....I never thought this would happen. I pushed myself so far out of my comfort zone to write this. And I think it worked.

All string instruments and percussion mixed into one unique creation.

Thanks for listening!

Loved it very much.

Modern Classical

Hmm... I can't really think of any other words to describe how it sounds, but with the almost Drum n Bass drum beat being accompanied by the strings, it's certainly quite powerful.

When the track progresses into the snares and the more rapid strings, you've got a great dynamic there. I love the blend and the way that the piece presents to all. I could have imagined at the first thing that I was at a recital, though adding the drums as you did, as opposed to kettle drums, which seem to be the majority of percussion in an orchestra gave it a different taste, to shatter that illusion.

There is room for improvement, perhaps a little piano, to stamp more classical on the piece, as I feel it gets a little too far from the origins across the piece and maybe change that reedy sounding instrument (Clarinet?) to a flute, for more impact, as it would certainly give you a new facet to explore.

My plan was to have all string instruments in this piece as well as the percussion, so some of the instruments I used were not entirely accurate (hence the reedy sounding instruments which was actually a viola). I'm probably going to try this again with more orchestral instruments, such as a piano or a flute.

Thanks for listening!

Damn, this is great. I'm not even sure where to start my review...

The strings were amazing. I liked the way they all had there own different parts and they all fit together perfectly like a puzzle. How many different tracks did you have for the strings? Just wondering.

The percussion... Oh Celestia, the percussion. The drums just make the song. Like I said, the strings were amazing, but the percussion just, like I said, makes the song. The beats are all perfect and fit in exactly where they belong changing up the feel of the song so much from modt classical while not actually changing the genre. What percussion samples do you use? I need percussion samples like this. The ones I have kind of suck...

The feel that the song gets across almost sounds industrial or a quite a bit like steam punk. I really like it. Alot.

This sog is perfect as an Octavia battle theme. I'd even say that this is way up there with No Strings Attached by JeffTheStrider. Seriously.

Overall, It's amazing and I can't find any flaws. Good job.

Thanks for the review! Funny thing is I used to get hammered for my shoddy percussion all the time. I was actually quite reluctant to write this piece but it seems it turned out very well.

To answer your question, I googled "drum and bass samples" and the first result has a lot of them available for download.

Thank you very much for the review!

Enjoyable.

This song gives Brony composers a good name.
