Hello all. Here's something different for the new year. Came up with the idea over the weekend and have been fleshing it out in the following days. Hopefully it's something to your liking.

Many thanks to my mother for her never-ending support and her extraneous amounts of musical input. She certainly helped me formulate the majority of the track.

Also, be sure to turn up your volume. The mix is quiet, but for good reason. I plan on pumping it up during the mastering stage.

As always, criticism is well appreciated. Comments, questions, reviews, do what you do.

Cheers!

Nice DnB.Sounds clean, and haves a very good rhythm, plus the BPM flows very well with the other sounds of the music (like the citara on the background - Dont know if its really a citara or not).It is indeed quiet, but in drum n bass, rhythm is better than actual loudness.Save loudness for other hardcore genres like Dubstep.

The only negative thing on this music is that its short (1:46)

5,a 6 if its longer.

Thank you, good sir :) The "citara" is actually a synthesized lead with some help from the envelope filter. And I do agree with your following statement. Most of my mixes are quiet. I care more about the dynamics than the loudness.

Thanks man! Appreciate it :)

Hell yeah

My only problem is that it's a little too quiet.

You, sir, have yourself a liquid DnB masterpiece on your hands.

Jenni-Harry4eva3 responds:

Yeah... my mixes tend to be a bit quiet, but that's because I'm following the rule of leaving overhead room from -3 dB onward. Mastering will pump it up :) Thanks though!
