So, I've been wanting to learn how to play this song for ages, but found it impossible to find any MIDI (To use in Synthesia) or even any Sheet Music... So I made my own. I transcribed the entire song (Well, at least the piano part) by ear, so now I have both a new cover to show off, and a MIDI file I made myself to practice to learn the song.

The original song is called "World (Piano Mix)" off of the Dragon Crisis! OST, the original composer is Makoto Miyazaki.

I can't say it's exact, but I think it's pretty damn close, close enough that it sounds just as touching as the original anyways (If you can forgive the lack of other orchestral instrumentation).
Used FL Studio to transcribe, and Miroslav Philharmonik for the piano sound (Which is my signature sound but slightly tweaked with a little EQing to make it a bit more bass heavy like the original).

If you're interested in learning to play the song, shoot me a PM and I'll see about throwing the midi file your way for use in Synthesia.

PS:
I may or may not go back and humanize this a bit more, mid song sounds a bit robotic (Unfortunately I'm not skilled enough to play this consistently yet, which is part of the reason I created this in the first place... so I could learn it).

Sounds nice.
So...did you learned to play this piece on the piano yet? Also, I would love to have the sheet.

Back-From-Purgatory responds:

I can play it if I play along with the midi in synthesia, I don't have it memorized though. As for sheet, send me a PM about it, and when I have some free time, I'll see what I can do.

Wow

Wow this is so beatiful, i first heard this on one game from the portal and i was an instant fan and so i faved it and downloaded it for future use, but i must say you really play with a pleasent feel, and it was a very soothing and touching tune, i really enjoyed what you presented here and hope to hear more of your work, this tune will for sure get my 5, as i dont give many at all but this one was well deserving so nice job indeed.

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
Now to improve on something thats already so welldone will be hard to do, but all i can really say here is keep up the awsome work maybe you could make a longer version maybe even have more build up towards the end and so-on.
