This song is by DarkOtaku! I just added the guitar freestyle to the original piano track.

Would you mind if I added more instruments to this and used it in an animation? I'm doing a Ratchet and Clank Fan Film. It'll be about 30 minutes long.

"Good song!!!!"

date: April 2, 2006

Good song.

The piano's sounding is kind of cheap.

The guitar's sound is kind of «ok» but it's seems a bit digital.

The solo is good, but maybe it would be nice to have more of a theme in the solo you know?

Great!

Author's Response:

Lol, like I said only 2 or 3 responses down, there's alot of stuff that could have been done here. This was all improvisation, and done on one take.
It wasn't meant as a "real" song at all, it was just me playing along to DarkOtaku's song, for kicks and giggles. Not planned at all. XD
As for it sounding digital, maybe sorta I guess. Can't really be helped.
Unless I get a studio mic in here, I'm stuck recording with my guitar set lined straight into my computer.
In any case, thanks for everything!
Really appreciate all kinds of response.

"Nice track"

date: April 1, 2006

I enjoyed your expression in this piece. You know, all it really needed next was a full orchestra, Metallica, and 60,000 people.

A full mix of instruments and sounds would have made it so much better, but that doesn't mean the guitar playing was slack-ass. I would love to fill it out with some delay and better reverbing. Give it that epic sound, you know?

Great playing anyway!

Author's Response:

Yeah, there's a bunch of things I could have done / would have done, but the thing is; this really wasn't planned at all. Like I said in the description, it was just a one-shot recording that I made right after downloading DarkOtaku's piano track.
I never dreamed it would get these levels of feedback. lol

In any case, thanks for the review.
Appreciate it! =D
