Slightly comatose.
This track is pretty relaxing, which I attribute to the string section that's being sampled (very well might I add). My only true criticism is the strength of the snare beat throughout the song. It's a little strong in comparison to the rest of the song, especially the very light strings and voices. However, the bass (which was probably my favorite part of this song) sort of balances it out, but not enough for me to ignore the snare.
That being said, I did like the bass, most notably the segments at the end of every bar. Thankfully I was wearing my headphones to hear that, because my computer speakers would not have given me the privilege of hearing it. All in all, I liked it. A lot. Way to kick off the new year, man.
