A song about growing up.

Fall silent in the fields and feel the cold that stillness yields
Warm hands and tender face kissed gently by winter's embrace
Come drift away with me and fall into eternity
When we return again we lose our right to play pretend

As we get old the world gets colder
Every step we're growing bolder now

Moon shining in the night with crystal stars by candle light
Twinkling so beautifully, the snowflakes fall so gracefully
But as they near the day, they melt away and start to fade
Our innocence betrayed and so we fall into decay

For like the snow, we'll start to change
Forget our place, forget our names now
Hear us screaming out
Hear us screaming out

And deep inside, we're all the same
Forget our place, Forget our names now

There's no more time to wait, and young we can't forever stay
However much we pray, the world will surely fade to gray
Our innocence betrayed, and so we fall into decay
And as we near the day, we melt away and start to fade

But now there's nothing left but rage
We don't want to die we don't want to fade
Hear us screaming out
Hear us screaming out

And deep inside we're all the same
We don't want to die we don't want to fade
We don't want want to grow we don't want to change
We just want to stay alive

There's no more time to wait and young we can't forever stay
So as we near the day, we melt away and start to fade

I love the music and the lyrics have great substance. It's just that your voice is a little difficult to hear and I think the song would be better if it wasn't competing with the music for the center sound. There were some times when your voice was more prominent, particularly towards 4:30 until arund 5:15, which were awesome.
