A song for the used and thrown out

It's all the same, she said
I'll give you anything you want
Just give me what I want and we will call it even

I looked into her eyes
And pulled out hundred dollar bills
To give her what she wanted, something to believe in

I held her in my arms
And kissed her poisoned, bloody lips
consumed her heart and soul to throw her out and leave her

Walked out into the streets
Red lipstick stains upon my neck
Forgot her name, forgot the love that had bereaved her

Nothing ever stays the same
Everything we know will change
Love will rot and waste away
Everything in life will fade

Walked out into the streets
I had forgotten where I was
Until I came across a shattered piece of glassware

It was the same dead girl
Crying broken, bloodied on the streets
With bloodshot eyes and bloodshot tears that stained her black hair

I'm all alone, she said
Just give me, give me what I want
She looked so violent, crushed in pieces on the concrete

I held her close to me
To use her up and throw her out
It didn't matter anyways, It didn't matter anyways

Nothing ever stays the same
Everything we know will change
Love will rot and waste away
Everything in life will fade

I found her lying there
Red lipstick stains upon her neck
She looked so peaceful, sleeping, dead, upon the concrete

So I just walked right on
I never saw her face again
She didn't matter anyways, She didn't matter anyways

It's all the same, she said
I'll give you anything you want
