Old, but it does NOT show it's age. Especially since this is one of my favourite songs from you.
Merry Christmas everybody! Well not yet, but I figured I'd just upload this as an early Christmas present...
Anyhow, It's been a while since I uploaded something 'orchestrally epic', so here you go: epic orchestral drum & bass! Hope you guys like it, even though it has an astonishing (well, for me anyway) duration of nearly five minutes.
I wanted to make something similar to 'Dragon Rider' by Two Steps From Hell, yet give it my own unique twist, so I hope I succeeded in that regard...
Well, enough chatter, here are the details:
Software used: Cubase 5
Tempo in bpm: 160
Time signature: 4/4
Key signatures: D minor
Hope you guys/gals like it! Please leave a comment after you've listened to it, that would mean a great deal to me ;) Thanks in advance!
Edit:
For some lame reason, my song is now called 'Rise of Cham' (thanks redesign...). Of course, the official title is still 'Rise of Champions' =)
Edit 2:
Woo, finally the original name has been restored!
Old, but it does NOT show it's age. Especially since this is one of my favourite songs from you.
Thanks, much appreciated! I sure feel old now, though, hah!
Gotta say, this song makes my day better. I was browsing your songs, saw this one, and clicked on it. It makes me want to dance to the beat, even when i am working on a project or something haha! You may be the best author of music in my opinion! I love your songs! It almost sounds like it could be from a video game...Maybe try asking a video game company if you could make music for them! Haha! Great song! 10/10
Glad to hear that my music made your day better! Really, your words are too kind :) I would actually love to write music for video games again, so who knows where my music might end up in the future!
Thanks again for your support! It really means a lot :)
Awesome work, is this your first song, or have you made more? Overall this song is very cool but I think there are a few improvements to be made. For one, I think the drums should've been a little louder and I think you should've added a little more variety to the melody and drums. One more thing, if you make a song too long, it will wear out the epic effect, but the ending was one of my favorite parts. Like I said, this is an epic song as it is- just giving some hopefully helpul advice. Nice Job!
Haha, thanks for your response! Unfortunately, this is not my first song, and I have been composing for quite some time now. That said, I'm always looking for ways to improve my music, and feedback such as yours is always much appreciated :) I'm afraid there's still a lot to learn...
Anyway, I pretty much agree on everything you said, and I'll make sure to implement that information in future songs.
Glad you liked it, and thanks for the review!
i agree with Flowoflife, if i heard this in an adventure game i would play it over and over
Haha, thank you! I'm really honoured to receive such comments ^^
Nice melody on the background, you change their rhythm without affecting the drums rhythm, very well done! :)
A diverse drum n bass.Good for adventure games.
