==Epic Battle Fantasy: Adventure Story==
--Menu Theme--

While it's fun and all to write a complex song, sometimes I find that there is beauty in simplicity. And I try to convey that feeling in this song, a simple light song with a touching beauty to it.
You could say it's got a bit of a Christmas'y feel to it.

Lovely job

I think this song in a way reflects the style of Epic Battle Fantasy II's title theme best. The melody's just slightly different, but other than that very much like EBF II, but with drums.

With regards to the drums, I thought it'd be nice to have a snare in there that would have a big massive bass/reverb/echo (a very beautiful atmospheric sound) effect, to better balance everything out, if not just for the sake of the drums! I'd add it every third beat if given half the chance.

And perhaps in that case even throw in a nice little bass line. Oh, I'm starting to get carried away here, but I just feel that there's a way to really bring out the song in a more whole way.

In terms of your "minimalism" approach, I'd suggest giving a song like Ragnarok Online's title song or even that of Granado Espada's a listen. These are great examples of the ability to maximize the "less is more" feel.

You, sir, hit that nail right on its head! I was certainly aiming for the style from EBF2's intro. While I can also certainly imagine the song being better with an additional bassline, snares, maybe an acoustic guitar, I wanted to keep it simple. :)

Great

Its just that I was hoping for some changes here and there. The whole song is the same. And the weak drums, I think you should have gone with no drums at all, just let it feel a little more classic.

The drums make it feel a little more fast paced, its not really the calm song I would look for.
