This is gonna be the theme for The Synergy project's main character, Kuro Shinigami.
I could have made it hilarious, seeing as that's how Kuro is half the time, but his darker side and newly established cat-ness kinda prevented that.

It'll need some extending and refining, but even as of now it's sounding great.

Dark Reaper shines brightly!

The theme and melody of this piece are really impressive, felt like it described a dark mysterious person revealing a secret and becoming a hero. Always love piano included in works like this and the wind instrument at 0:11 to 0:40 was epic starting off as the focus and slowly became the support, I was sad to hear it leave.

Great beginning and I liked the transitions that built up the melody, especially the one at 0:22. The percussive transition at 0:41 was nice, but the hats/cymbals from 0:42 to 1:00 was a little overwhelming for me. They stood out to me more than melody and I had trouble focusing on the music as a whole during that period of time. It could just be me though.

Overall, good theme and great melody and percussion may be a bit strong near the end. Keep up the awesome work, I look forward to future songs. 8/10.

Yeah, I plan to tone down the drums a bit (the choice of sounds the kit had was limited in how they varied) And I'll continue it, lengthen it, maybe add new tones.
I can even explain the structure.
That first bit with just the piano and flute is kinda the opening.
Then when the guitar and strings kick in, that's what I call the 'Support Melody'
And the one with the heavy drums is the main.

Also, kudos to you for knowing that 'Kuro Shinigami' translates to 'Dark/Black Reaper' (depends on wether you want to use black or dark. In my case, I use black)

Ironic thing is, he's a really cheery guy, almost a comical character, though he's kinda a male yandere, so to speak. He's got a crazy side. >:D

I'll take your advice for the final song. Thanks for the review.
