I haven't written a trance song in ages. Here's something I wrote after finals.

Thanks for listening!

So very hypnotic makes me imagine a freaked out Flutterhy get squished into a metallic bubble.
She would be thrown in a whirlpool of tropical water and sink slowly losing oxygen every second.
The trauma would make her smile grimly and she would say "yaaay..." as the last of her life fades.
I want to cry now as I write this.
It is a very interesting song and download worthy.
<sad Moo of approval>

Awesome soul song. But why so short? Why not make a standard length of 7 minutes?

Strange Vocals

Hmm, this one is a very strange sounding piece, which has a very compelling sound of buildup, vocals and then the beat added along, almost as an afterthought, as you get with these sort of tunes.

Parts of the song seem a little repetitive, but with a little tweaking, these could be given enough variation to make the track less repetitive to the casual listener. The method of verse - chorus - verse should be followed, even in a tune without discernible lyrics that follow this pattern.

The piece can be turned into something truly fantastic, with little additional effort, but to try and force the issue could be damaging, so remember that fine tweaks only, may be necessary.

This was my first time using sliced (or more appropriately gutted) vocals like this and I wasn't sure how it would turn out.

Verse chorus verse unfortunately is something I cannot master. Imo its very hard to follow this pattern without being repetitive. Coupled with the fact that trance is a relatively mote repetitive genre in itself, I decided to go....free verse(?) or whatever it's called.

Yeah, I probably should have put more effort into variation, but for me the vocals were the novelty point of the song.

Thanks for the review!

Another pony song :)

You did really well with this piece of music. The calm intro suits the image of Fluttershy, and is a nice way to introduce the rest of the song.

I like it how the rest of the song has a bit more of a beat than the start, but is still calm. It's hard to explain, but you did really well with that. I think that the sound effects add to that. The sound effects aren't too present throughout the song, but just enough to have a nice mixture between the effects and the music. Wonderfully done.

I don't want to say that the effects are what makes this song good on its own though. The beat and music behind it would make a nice song, even without Fluttershy. The whole calm atmosphere that the song has is strengthened even more due to the music being almost silent at some parts.

All those small things make the song really good. In fact, there's nothing I'd like to have changed in this song.

Thanks for the review! I might make something similar to this with Rarity vocals in the future...

Such calming

I like how it starts with her vocals and keeps having them in a light dreamy manner making you feel like she is falling asleep with you and trying to make sure you are alright while you do the same for her making sure she is alright as well. Very calm trance beat and very lovely.

The synth has a nice feel to it as it kind of bounces around a bit while in the background you hear more ambient synths playing to give the main one more of a good feeling to it here. The bass is nice and I like how it makes the bass feel even louder. The drums are great and I like them as well.

Overall, wonderful song, love the use of an echo effect on Fluttershy's vocals. What program did you use to make this piece?

Glad you liked it man! I'm thinking of doing more trance remixes of pony stuff, as well as the usual classic assortment.

Thanks for listening!
