Also your game, albeit it was short... but the music made my day. It has a certain level of presence in it, power, and level of melody

im in progress with a killer song with a lot of tampini and you gave me a great idea with the speeding up part! i love the feel you get when it goes faster and louder. is like OMG HERE THEY COME!!!

drop by my page when u get a chance and one more thing
BEST GAME EVER! GOOD JOB!

Author's Response:

Thanks a lot for your review! I'll definitely be sure to check out your music. If it is anything with lots of timpani, it must be good. Thanks for the mad props on the game too! I appreciate it.

"This one is really good."

Yay for battle music!

The first thing that came to mind for me, was make that begining part faster, I'm going to go as far as pretty much double the tempo there. I am however assuming too much, so please, if that is not the kind of battle you want going on (like Zroi Mai Grawd, just kill KILL KILLL!), then I wouldn't do what I just said.

This battle music you give us, is one filled with a strugglers journey, that constant timpini gives the air of continuation, and when it speeds up, it adds a neat level of excitement.

I would add another octave on those brass instruments, down one, from what you have now. Perhaps even make the original go down one, because that would give a much darker mood... again, I am assuming however, as it stands, this is a more final fantasy normal battle theme, and if this is what you wanted, you have completely perfected it.

I just like to throw suggestions ^^.

5/5 from me again Atomic. Keep them coming.

Author's Response:

Thanks for the review Maestro! Your suggestion with the octaves is actually a good one and I think it would add to the score quite well. I would do this, but I do not have the file on me (I just use a Sibelius demo and record it, so there is no saving of compositions... *sigh*). I'm really glad you like my songs and I've got quite a few more coming. In fact, once 11:00 hits I am going to add my second battle song, which I think is my best one yet. I also am going to compose some more mellow "Journey" music and others. I appreciate your support! Thanks again!
