Made with Reason 5.0
Inspired by Kow Otani's Shadow of the Colossus OST.
Imagine waking up and finding yourself in a mysterious forest. As the sun rises, the fog disperses and light shines faintly, yet ever so beautifully through the brush and trees.
0:22 You find yourself at the bank of a river at a waterfall. You gaze at the running water. It is the clearest and calmest water you have ever seen.
0:43 You begin to feel uneasy and notice that something is strange. It seems too quiet. You turn your back and begin to walk away from the river's bank.
0:53 You find yourself in a clearing and before you, you see a creature only myths speak of. There is a white dragon across the clearing from where you stand. Its scales reflect the faint light of the morning. It lowers and turns its mighty head and locks its magnificent teal eyes with yours. The beast stands straight and unfolds its marvelous wings. A sense of wonder ignites within you and you step forward. The dragon looks skyward and glances back at you, then takes off and flies through and above the trees.
1:11 You stumble into a hurried walk and then into a run as you look upwards, chasing after the wondrous creature.

I've been scouting for music for awhile now and when I heard this I just knew it was perfect. I'm currently working on a visual novel with branching storylines, and so i'm wondering if you wouldn't mind me including this number in the soundtrack? I'd most likely use this this piece for the opening scene in my VN.
:D

AshleyAlyse responds:

Go ahead and use it! I'm happy you like it. :) Thank you for the review! :D Make sure to check out my latest classical pieces too! I used Miroslav Philharmonik instruments in my recent songs, so they sound better than my old ones - like this one. :)

I think...rather I'm sure that this piece is already 'great' enough to be featured in any adventurous show at the moment (and I'll put my money on an animated show!!!)...I would agree with most that if it had been a bit longer, you know with a few more mood variations(but at the same time keeping the 'mystic' feeling steady...which jn reality, is already here), it would have given the likes of James Horner a run for his money...And i meant it.....really....

Even so....i am having a flash project at hand and I would really like to use this piece of yours....If you're willing to let me use it that is!!!

Do rep...

AshleyAlyse responds:

Wow, I'm flattered! James Horner is one of my favorite composers! I might work on making this longer when I have the time and resources. (Better computer, better software.) Thank you so much! :D

Feel free to use any of my music if you'd like. Just be sure to give me credit. :)

It's very nice... I agree with your description!

I was going to say that if the end was more dramatic, it would sound more awesome, but then I saw it was already said.
Thanks for allowing me to experience this.

AshleyAlyse responds:

My pleasure! :) Thank you so much! I'm so happy you like it. ^_^ Maybe I will make an epic remake of this piece someday!
