Blow Up The Sun
it's a love song... really!
I conceived the rhythm and melody of this song while sitting at a red light. The left turn signal sounds like a 4/4 (or 2/2) time beat, but I made it a 3/4 in my mind just for fun... and out came this song. The middle bridge is really aped from another song of mine, Control, then the whole 1st verse of Control was re-aped for Only A Couple of Dreams, which I recorded a whispered solo acoustic take of right before recording the original Just Being recording... so you kinda see part of the process here, that's why I'm saying all this... anyway, the lyrics have duality: imagine a man talking to his girlfriend/wife over the phone while she's in the hospital, trying to sleep, and you get the idea.

i wasnt really cught by the song until you went distortion and told me to help you blow up the sun. i feel if you work on the non distortion part then it would be helllllaaaaa BEAST!

thanks. i tried to keep the sound engineering of the acoustic part more like a pop song, and what it may need is to be a little more sparse.
