In the lab's west wing, he found himself surrounded by cold steel. Experiments on ice - some less frozen now than one could prefer - were scattered about. Even here, he was not alone. There were eyes all around him, waiting to see how he'd move forward.

More delightful Darin project music!
I've a less determined imagery in mind for the stage, but wanted to fuse the generic ice level atmosphere with something a bit more mechanical and technological, the latter half being the theme of most of the project as the game's setting is inside a lab, wherein you are honestly quite tiny.
Honestly not a lot to say on this one. D: Still experimentin'. Kinda how I'm rolling with the OST for this, but am sticking with the mixture of electronic and natural elements in the instrumentation. This one leans on synths more than Artificial Nature, but the environment is also less natural overall, so I guess that works.

Ice World.
I could see this in a video game, definitely.
The Ice World theme, perhaps, or a dungeon in the Snowpeak Mountains.
So yeah. Fits well to the theme.

Nice as Ice
It felt very technological, but to be honest, the ice part of it just didn't come through for me. It made me think of twinkling stars, more than anything else. Still a lovely piece though.
