Electronic - Video Game

Author Comments

Here is a piano/electronic arrangement of the stage BGM Lava Reef Zone Act 2 from the 1994 Sega Genesis video game, Sonic & Knuckles.

This is a collaboration between me and John Weeks.

MIDI Sequenced by John Weeks. Piano arrangement by Dr. Mack Foxx.

MIDI modified and used with permission. Please note: I do have written permission to post this from John Weeks.

I reply to all reviews so feel free to leave one. :)

After the hellish act one, everything freezes over. your meant to slow down and think the game through more carefully. This music emulates that perfectly.

Sega should hire you...

That is all I'm saying. The song seeds my ears and attention.

It would certainly make my day if both John Weeks and I were hired to do work on music for a Sonic game. I'm very happy that you loved this song as well. :) Thank you so much for the review!

Such an underrated site for underrated music.

DrMackFoxx responds:

Very much agreed. There is a huge wealth of great music on Newgrounds, but much of it never sees the light of day for one reason or another, unless you have a small army of several hundred followers or so.

At any rate, thank you for the great review and I'm glad you enjoyed this song. :)
