very solid
Everything sounded great in this recording but if i had one suggestion it would be to establish something as the melody before going into solos, this gives your audience something to remember your song by, and with help give you a better basis for soloing.
This song sounds like it would fit well in super smash brothers melee.
Thanks for the review. Sounds like you're saying that it took too long for the main melody (trumpet solo) to start in? Probably true, but I kind of enjoyed the intro in any case. I'll try to fix this in my next piece.

Groovy.
Such a great collection of sounds here. I can definitely hear a human performance within the arrangement -- that is a type of creation that seems to elude many, especially when it comes to software. I noticed you mentioned the piano roll is your best friend and it shows here. The beat is great and the motifs blend seamlessly into one another. I'm thoroughly impressed.
Thanks so much! A friend of mine wanted me to quantize the whole thing, but I thought what a shame.

your awesome!
With the pianos!
I always love playing around with pianos and messing around with melodies =]
This one you got here is really good, love it!
It is nice and upbeat, and the claps/snares work well with it. I love the different instruments at 01:11-----WOW amazing cowbell, triangle, and i don't even know!
Great song, great variety. You use a lot of new instruments in here i never hear =]

The trumpets sound a bit too loud, if the volume on them was turned down more, they would feel more part of the other sounds instead of a lead...
Thanks for the helpful review! You may be right about the trumpet...seems like the vocals in some of the popular music are really out there, and I guess I thought the trumpet sort of served the same purpose here. Maybe a more expensive trumpet sound/instrument would have helped...

Excellent
There isn't enough jazz on Newgrounds.
It's not perfect, but it was very, very good. 5.
Thanks!
