A song that did not make it onto my upcoming album. I could only choose 10 songs for the album and this song was not among them. I figured I could share it with newgrounds instead :)

Speaking of the album, its ALMOST done. Im just waiting for a friend of mine to design the cover, then I will submit it. Expect a couple of weeks tops :)

Sky Shark Returns!...oh wait...

This isn't a Sky Shark revision ^_^
Regardless, it takes me back to the times I would bust out the nes just to have a challenge. If you were to play this game on an emulator, you would see where my comparison comes into play. You have done such a great job with this piece, and I do agree with Luxomni. The percussion and bass do "muff" it up just a bit, but that is what I feel makes this an original piece! Props to you!

MashedByMachines responds:

Thanks, I will check out the game you mentioned :D

Cool.

This song really captured the old retro video game style. The melodies are cool, and the 8-bit synths you used fit together really well. On the other side, your percussion and bass muffled up the mix a bit. It isn't a huge issue, but if you could clear up the lower frequencies in your mix, your song would sound a lot better.

Keep up the good work. Can you please review me back on my first submission? I would appreciate the feed back.
