FINALLY. Another Rose song! There's a few things about this one that are different though, and not just the way it sounds lol. It's going to be a multi-stage boss fight theme, so you're getting a Version 2.0 of it sometime soon. It would've been too big to attach to the mp3 (easily running 8 minutes), and to add to that, I'm not sure when that version is getting done. So I didn't want you guys to wait any longer! <3

About the multi stage thing, I've always liked boss battles where the music would shift dramatically (or in some cases stream into it, Nier does that for example), but I can't do that in an mp3 because the battle wont always play out the same, if that makes sense. So, for the people who want to do that thing, or use these songs separately, I'm giving you the choice! I'm making sure to loop them properly as well. I also had elaborate (20-30 second) intros before, but even though I really liked how that sounded, it wasn't very practical for people to use, since it wouldn't loop. Basically, if you want the intro to this mp3 for either listening to it (it's not that big of a deal lol) or actually using it once in either a movie or a game to start this song up, send me a PM and I'll give it to you!

So, aside from all that, it's a pretty different sounding Rose this time. More Orchestral, which is something I've always wanted to try. I've loved this style of RPG music in games like Lost Odyssey, several Final Fantasies and most recently Xenoblade Chronicles! I'll let you guys be the judge of whether or not I was any good at it lol. The second version will be a more rock orchestra type, more or less what you're used to from Twilight and Midnight.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this! Like I said, there's more coming soon. You pretty much deserve getting a lot more (this song is pretty long too for a rose track as it is) for not having gotten a new rose song in so long, if you ask me!

(I hope my english or the dialogs are not that bad ;) )
{Fight is ending, the white ring of the enemy is disappearing}
[Enemy] Uhrg...
[You] I... finally... won...
[Enemy] I am not the ranger you are seeking for...
[You] What?! You are not...
[Enemy] Hehe... He... Our Boss, [???], is not here... He is behind this long floor behind me... I am just the 8th ranger, Alabaster. My only aim was to stop you.
[You] But you failed. I obviously defeated you
[Enemy] Hehe... Hehehehehe...
[You] ?
[Enemy] While we are talking, our Boss is just one step away from dominating the world. If you want to try to stop him, you should go now. But you will just waste your life. You...
[You] I fought this hard in name of the world... I cant stop now! I have to go!
{Music is starting and you go through a long hall till you reach a door}
[System] A strong power of darkness will be found behind this door. Are you prepared?
[You] {have to choose} -Yes- -No-
{You choose Yes and enter the room}
[???] Who is there?
[You] It is me, your death. I came to defeat you.
[???] I expected you, [You]. But i never thought you getting this far. It seems that the eight other rangers couldnt stop you.
[You] And who are you that you think you can stop me from stopping you?
{Music fades, Boss encounter music starts}
[???] I am Astraea, the yellow ranger. But with the power of the nine rings i will be Astraea, ruler of the world, no, ruler of the universe...
{Astraea puts on the other eight rings, she beginns to shine in the colors of the rainbow
{Fight beginns, Final Boss music}

This is perfect. The intro is serious, but has a speed to it, like "We're hitting this battle running." And I think the string and piano parts are perfect. Some battle/boss themes are overly grave and serious: it's almost like the music forgets about the battle and it has the sole goal of making the audience fear and respect the boss. And for some situations and characters, it works. But here, you didn't do that.
You went with something that very much reminds me of Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy, and that is perfect! It feels not only like a boss battle, but like a battle for hope. The music makes focus not just on the boss, but on the people fighting the boss. Instead of worrying about only how dreadful the boss is, I also remember who is fighting the boss and how courageous, steadfast, and hope-filled they must be. And that's how it should be. Just wonderful. I wish I could pinpoint more of what you did right in better words. x(

I am also very impressed with how this music loops. It had to have played 5 or 6 times and I never once noticed. I can't help but feel like this is the more serious answer to Rose at Twilight, which is perfect. I would dare to say Rose at Twilight and Rose at Eclipse are your masterpieces and would love to see them feature two different bosses in the same game or something.
