Good pop-punk, but needs some contrast.

Pretty solid song and nice production. There are a LOT of bands out there that sound like this, though. You know what would make this stand out a little? Less sugar on the vocals. Maybe a little more raw and rough and slightly pissed off sounding. It would provide some nice contrast. :)

This isn't punk

This is awful in all kinds of ways. The rifts are simplistic and the lyrics are trash. This is emo pansy horse shit. When think punk I think Social Distortion or Dropkick Murphys. This a fucking insult to rock music, an embodiment of all things I hate in a song. Punk was and still is a form of anti-government protest, not some pussy talking about a fucking chick. "your dead to me" are you fucking serious. You losers have not god damn right to call this puck rock, this is emo shit.

tydiggy responds:

It's called pop-punk. It's not really a new genre, Blink 182 was the first, but here in Jersey it's really starting to rise up. We went and recorded a song with the most well known pop-punk band, Man Overboard. I respect your opinion, as harsh and insulting as it is. And this is exactly what all this is, your opinion. Punk music isn't only about anti-government protests. I'm unsure if you are aware of this, but there are sub genres of music that take influence from a main genre and impact from others as well. I suggest being less judgmental and more open minded if you wish to have respect from your peers. Thank you for the review!
