Hello once again, NG! This is the twenty-third of 26 submissions (or so) that I'll upload this year for a project entitled Project 26: Submission a Week. This project is in collaboration with NG user Chocosoda (check him out!) Each other week in 2011, I'll upload a musical piece for a total of 26.

This piece is one I've done before (twice, in fact), but one I simply love more than life itself. It pretty much speaks for itself, and if you're a fan of Metal Gear, you'll know what it is as soon as you hit play; this is "Theme of Solid Snake" from Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake.

You can expect a full version of this track in a couple of months. Choco's excited about recording it, and Guitar Pro just doesn't do the guitars justice.

TIME/TEMPO: 5'19"/148 BPM (4/4 time)
KEY: C# Minor
ORIGINAL THEME: "Theme of Solid Snake" by KCEJ Sound Team (Masahiro Ikariko, Mutsuhiko Izumi, Kazuhiko Uehara, Tomoya Tomita, Yuko Kurahashi, Yuji Takenouchi and Tsuyoshi Sekito)
MIDI TRANSCRIPTION: Unknown contributor from The Snake Soup (thesnakesoup.org)

SOUNDFONTS USED:
None. Used Guitar Pro 6.

Arranged and mixed in Guitar Pro 6. Unmastered.

Enjoy! Don't forget to leave a review and check out my other works. Subscribe to the RSS feed of my submissions so you don't miss one! :D

I'm really diggin' this one, Josh!

I could listen to this over and over again, and still feel like I'm sneaking around in some place in MGS4 while listening to this song on Snake's iPod. I like this take. Vastly superior to the one I heard a while back from you! Nicely done!

Joshy676 responds:

Thanks, Shawn. I remembered saying that I would do this piece again, so I did. That's just kind of the whole story. :D

Thanks for your review. :D
