What started out as a cello solo developed into a full song that is accompanied by violin, percussion, and a vibraphone. This song is mystical, light-hearted and has an adventurous overtone. Again it takes a while for the song to really get into it, building and building to an epic ending. In my dreams I'm able to fly high through the sky.

Feedback and criticism would be welcome and very much appreciated. I know you don't have to, but if you want to use this for anything it would be nice if you'd please ask first or just tell me. Thank you.

Very Enjoyable

Overall, the song had an excellent sound which clearly had a lot of effort put into it. Well done!
As for feedback, I loved the strings, but I think the percussion could've been better. Roughly 2 mins into the song, the drum cuts out and it returns to the strings. For a better build-up, they should have stayed in for the rest of the song. At the end (3 mins 40 secs?), the cymbals come crashing through and the general mood is lost. Without the gradual increase, they sound painfully artificial and immersion is lost. :(
As usual, any improvements are up to the artist. I hope my input helps in some way. I'll be sure to take a look at your other stuff! :)

ParagonOfDolor responds:

Glad you enjoyed the song & thank you for the critique. This is my second time trying out Symphonic Orchestra & the second classical style song I tried composing. I can see the problem with the percussion; I'm a guitarist, so I'm not the best with programming drums, but I'm learning. At the end the abrupt change signal a slight disturbance by adding distorted electronic drums and a scale change from a C Major to an Augmented Fifths feel, but then they working harmony with it switching back to the C Major scale for the last 8 measures. I love to experiment with music, I get tired of hearing the same ol' same ol'; or a song having to be a certain way to fit. I also need more discipline in working with note velocity and release, but all in time with practice and the right criticism I'll prevail. Thank you again.
