A relaxing song I made. A bit repetitive for an easy listen to whomever is hearing the track. Vote and Review, I'm always open for critique.

EDIT: Added a bit of acoustic guitar into the second half of the song, just to add a little more depth to the track.

Not relaxing

I'd rather say this was a cheerful and happy tune, not a relaxing one. A bit too much going on.

My main issue with this is really the fact that it's quite repetitive. Though it does change from time to time, melody being different and so on, and new layers of sound being added, the general structure and body is very similar, as are the synths. The adding of more sounds make it sound like somewhat of a jumbled mess, which is rather stressful.

The intro is quite good, the outro, not so much. It's not bad, but it really doesn't feel like you wanted to end it, but rather just transition into a new part of the track.

Synths and samples used weren't bad, pretty good audio quality and somewhat original.

Chill, but has a couple issues x.x

I liked the intro a lot! The chime-like instruments really reminded me of chilling on a porch in summer, and listening to a windchime in the breeze. so for a moment a really enjoyed the picture of Summer that this song generated in my mind. Summer sun, Squirt guns, Swimming, and all that good stuff. Really awesome stuff :)

The build that follows after, and the instruments that all mesh together at once seem a bit busy though. I definitely would have changed a few things about the mastering as well; this song has many good melodies throughout, but I feel that you maybe meshed to many together at once in some places.
Don't worry though!
It's a very common mistake that I've made myself many times :)
Just keep at it!

Great Effort!

Yeahh, I felt that the instruments seemed to mix together too much after I listened to the track a few times. It didn't hit me while I was creating it though, so thank you for bringing that up! I should definitely get to fixing that! Thank you for the compliment about the intro too, that took a lot of sampling and tweaking to get what I needed/wanted. I'm still a little confused as to which instrument I should make more prominent and which should create the melody. I'll figure it out soon, but thank you for the review!

Relaxing

Can kind of see some people just relaxing as they lay down in a field of flowers and relax for the first time in a long time as they finally escaped from the facility they were raised in so long. They had only heard of the blue skies and sunlight in a storybook when they were younger.

The piano, synth, and xylophone all combine to create a beautiful main beat that makes you feel like giving a big smile and being able to feel happy for once in your life as well. The bass is subtle and nicely added to the background as it gives you some nice visuals of a wonderful outside place that makes you feel happy.

The drums are also great and provide a great backing beat. The guitar was pretty cool and calm to hear. This turned out to be a really nice tune, great work here on it.

Overall, good happy beat.

Thank you very much! It's kind of amazing that you pictured almost the exact same thing that I did while I was creating the track. I guess I created the atmosphere that I was aiming for haha. To not hear anything bad about this song is a huge plus, because I've been working towards a song where all of the instruments blend together to make a nice simple beat; and I hope this is the track that accomplished that! Thank you for a very uplifting review!

Uplifting

I'm pretty sure this qualifies as trance.

The intro startled me a little, but that's ok - I liked it. The Xylphone sounds a little off pitch to me, it doesn't quite fit with the other patterns of the of the song. But this is still a very bright piece of music, alot of energy in this piece. Yes... it does get repetitive after awhile, but it kinda has a loop to it, which contributes to the fact that this does have a bit a flash potential. You might be able to add on to this if you so choose, if you do though - I recommend trying to give it more instrumental variety. It might help with the repetitiveness.

Overall though, nicely done.

Haha I couldn't think of the right genre for the life of me, so thank you for finally clearing that up for me. I'm open for the idea of adding to this song, and I would definitely add a few more instruments into the mix to keep it interesting. I'm glad you like the track too, because this is my best work by far. Thank you for your review!
