Electronic - Drum N Bass

Author Comments

full title: "Fighting for Peace; Fucking for Chastity"
For round 1 of the twenty'leven NGADM.

You'll notice right away that it isn't really drum and bass. I suppose it's breakcore, which I guess is close enough! First drumming part is 225BPM, the second is a bit faster.

Why isn't there moooarrr like that in the AP. It's always dubstep this, dubstep that, but never a decent breakcore tune.

The melodies are kinda weak, the drums coulda been more present, but who gives a fcuk?! Awesome programming dude! AWE! SOME! Second half blew me away. Dang, it's hard not to swear too much when this is running in the background...

it's all i'm good at lol

there's probably not much of it in the AP because people find it really aurally offensive, apparently.

oh my god. this shit was fucking nasty as hell. that melody at the end in the same key as that first note at the beginning of the song was a really nice touch. I got nothing else to say man. really creative stuff :)

Before I'm gonna review this I should first lay down for a few seconds and think about the facemelting ride I've just been on............. yeah, that should do the trick.

Ok, breakcore, huh? Well I don't nomrally listen to that so I can't give you much critics, but I'll try my best. In fact, I'm just gonna repeat everything IO said.
Yeah, the beat is weak. It sounds like there's no distribution in frequency and everything is in the same frequency range. The breakbeats itself were real harcore, I loved those. Also the part that starts after one minute is amazing, it really functions as a tension builder. The vocals also fitted in really well, even though I couldn't make out much more than 'Geat real, get real!'. The part after that, with the BPM that must've been 260 or something, went a little over the top.

4/5, 8/10.

bpm in the last part was 240 but was probably a little too much for decent listening, ah well :<

My review, your song.

Really enjoyed after the break in the middle. I hope the amount of sequencing here doesn't go over looked. Amens kick in my opinion is kind of weak, and you should consider layering another clean/high quality one shot on top of it to give it more body.
