Voice Acting - Voice Demo

Author Comments

Like it should say in the "Genre", this is only a demo to test what my voice acting is like, and shouldn't really be taken as a comedy or whatever the fuck you call this.
So I decided to put up a voice acting demo/comedy thing. It isn't even entirely funny, but it was an excuse to put my voice up on here. This is a cover of a sketch that was in the now dead "KnoxKast Radio" (revived as the ongoing "Chaos Pony") that, for some reason, I always seemed to like.

So yeah, leave your thoughts... I have no idea what thoughts you'd write down about this... voice demo... I'm gonna stop talking.

Not too shabby for a first try.

Knoxkast Radio! OMG I thought I recognized it... anyway, pretty funny. I'll be generous this time since it's only your first attempt. Rooms for improvement: get a better sketch to cover from. Maybe something from Mitchell and Webb? Their radio show is hilarious. Maybe a better mic as well, and try and clear your throat more before each recording. Anyway, hope to see more soon, and hopefully the quality will have improved a bit!

Nokomiste responds:

I'll be getting a new microphone soon, and I had a cold at the time of recording. I love Mitchell and Webb! I was actually thinking about covering one of their sketches for my next submission.
Thanks for the advice!

Kinda funny

The whole BOIL WATER ALERT has got a south park exaggerated tone to it that makes it funny. Your voice however is kinda plain. The boil water alert announcer voice is good but the rest lack any discernible difference from your regular voice. Prob could use a thicker better accent for the one and the rest just need more drama and enunciation.

sounds like the drunk and on drugs comedy hour voice from the commercial
and a little bit of Montey Python plus the innocence of sesame street
8/10 just cause i liked it:D keep it up
