A song about war.

Let freedom ring
There's children dying
Innocent people lying in the streets
Off these contrast beats
The marching of the soldiers' feet
Liberty bell rings off of ricochet
That bullet missed - it means you don't have to die today
But what about tomorrow?
Take the time to pray

I'm tired of oversea scandals
And wars that we just can't handle
We're ready as we charge for the battle
Keep steady - you can hear the war machines rattle
Like the chains of the freedom trying to get in
This prison that we're all living in

See the solemn face of a citizen on the street
That's no gang sign, all he wants is peace
There is none as long as there's 10-year-old kids with machine guns
Want one? Jump at the chance - join the force that killed your dad's other son
Haven't you heard the war's begun?
I thought we had freedom having already won
I guess we haven't, off on a tangent
Take a chance, you have it
Support peace - it's the only good habit
Pick it up, save the world from itself
Put the gun back on the shelf
There's other ways to help
You'll feel different if it's your son down on the pavement
Pay the price, future payment
Save a life, there's no rain check
Only death to those who don't openly face it

I'm tired of oversea scandals
And wars that we just can't handle
We're ready as we charge for the battle
Keep steady - you can hear the war machines rattle
Like the chains of the freedom trying to get in
This prison that we're all living in
