Just an old recording I figured I'd submit, since I haven't done anything else like it. Sorry if some of the parts might be off, and yeah, the soprano part was a bit too high. I was going to record it again, but got lazy. Anyway, I might make some more like this, even though there aren't many fans of true classical music here. If any of you have ssa choral songs that you need to be sung, I'll be happy to help.
Anyway, about the song; I wanted to sort of emulate those old spiritual hymns that I used to sing back in the days of chorus and singing in the church choirs. I first composed the tune, then wrote some quick lyrics later. Sorry that you can't hear what I'm singing...mostly from the reverb and staggering I guess. If you guys don't like the reverb, I'll gladly update it with the one that has very minimal reverb, lol.
Here are the lyrics:
You give me hope that shields my life,
You bring the rain
when the rivers run dry
The songs of life; they echo still
In your beauty, I am fulfilled
When shadows fall, embrace me
The glow of Heaven lightens my path
You rest within my broken heart
You heal my wounds
Of me, you're a part

Later!

Peace on earth...

... and good will to men. :) Despite the sound quality and lack of professional tools, your material is always full of substance! That's what I love most about your work!

Thank you so much, Xay. Glad to hear that the true form of the song came through the crappy recording of it. :) Thanks again buddy. Your words mean a lot!

lovely

I love the peaceful and calming melody. This song is absent of worry and strife, but instead is filled with true belief and conviction. That's faith, baby! I'd love to hear more pieces like this!

Yet another 10

Great music, I like the melody/countermeldoy you have there. It gives me chills to listen to. I can't quite understand the lyrics in the song, its a good thing you printed them. Keep up the good work!
