Hey there anyone and everyone :)

This is a little number I wrote for CaptainHicks' "Ice Aliens" game. It combines Industrial elements with Industrial effects to create an Industrial-styled song that sounds sort of Industrial.

Also, there's guitar.

Check my ass on Facebook! Join the Burning Army.

... The name's a work in progress, okay?

Oh Hell yes!

This is another fine piece. It feels heavy, powerful and capable of shaking the earth and that's good because if it didn't then it would of been losing stars.

The start is very nice, a rhythmic sort of marching sound to it then it kicks in even heavier and just gets better while maintaining that march feel (thus hence the title. A very loud and large emigration of people).

TO be honest, you learn more from what you do wrong and in recent time you do little wrong so I can't write long reviews. I mean there is only so far I can stretch out what I am saying which is:

AWCKING FUSOME

AWCKING FUSOME confused me for a minute, seriously. You tricky fuck. :P

I'm glad I'm doing most of the things right. I do fuck up sometimes with certain things, and I have a few people I send my songs to before I drop them on NG that give me good criticisms. But for the most part I feel like I'm learning how to do all of this fairly well.

I'm glad you feel like it kicks asses and stuff :D

Burn7 responds:

Oh, I'm trying. I gotta do some more metal SOMETIME soon. So why not now?!

Expand! Expand!

I generally have a thing against 'industrial', which most people take to be some kind of drum n bass bullcrap.

This is not that bullcrap. The sounds are heavy and glitchy (as they should be), the pace is driven fast (as it should be), and your techno background definitely shows.

Love the transition at :25.

:50 starts the portion where I feel the song leans towards more towards techno and away from industrial. You write kickass techno, so it all sounds good, but I figure if this were expanded to full length I'd want to hear a massive build to a cacophony of anger, rage and as much distortion and glitchy sounds as you could manage.

I know you understand builds and how to increase the energy of a song as it progresses (See: Into the Unknown V2), and I definitely think containing this to a loop is a shame.

Expand it, please?

Burn7 responds:

Hehe.... See, I feel the same way about this song. It was actually just a little extension of "Twyrlwhinde Fax Machine" that just kind of grew into it's own song. And because the original song was for Ice Aliens, I decided to extend that little section out a little further into it's own loop and use that in the game as well.

I do actually like the way this song sounds though, perhaps one boring day in the future I'll open this fucker up and add to what I've got. But for now I really don't have any plans to make this anything more than what it is.

And besides, isn't that enough already?

Hahaha... Thanks! :D
