There's some imperfections audible in this, sadly, that I couldn't fix without altering the core sound of the track. Still think it turned out pretty good. Did I mention Dave Wise was fuckin' awesome?

Composition is great!
I really like the overall composition and feel. Very good use of panning and volume effects. I really like your submissions because they sound very clean.
Are you using MIDI synths for these?
Yeah, it's all MIDI, actually. I use Yamaha S-YXG50 for all my works.

Ambience
Kind of reminds me of the water levels from the first Donkey Kong Country but a little less creepy actually. Never got to play DKC2 though, always wanted to though. Was the game any good?
The synth plays a good beat and I like how it has a constant feeling of rising up too which makes it cool to hear to my ears anyways. The bass line has the similar effect too and sounds nice. Like the drums playing that simple beat they got.
The secondary sounds I hear provide a lot of ambient tone for this. It just makes it sound like you were exploring some area that had not been touched by anything in ages too. Really nice effect.
Overall, wonderful cover piece, sounds really nice.
Oh, yes it was. It was heralded as the best in the series. The game's got about 2+ hours of playtime compared to DKC1 if you want to complete it 100%. Plus great graphics and a stellar soundtrack to go with it. Thanks for the feedback, good sir~ :>
