So I keep coming back to my older song Cloudless... The key is just really easy for me to improvise on the spot with I guess. I've managed to build on the melody a lot more than the last variation I made on it (Cloudful). This is just a quick recording of me playing it on the spot so I don't forget later, meaning it's very much just a draft. I'm hoping to make it an orchestral track like the original eventually. Since I like the piano solos though, I'm also saving some of the variations I come up with along the way. They seem to stand up well enough on their own without other instruments.
For this one, I mainly dumped most the new ideas I had for the song in the beginning; the second half you can tell I kind of just lost my way and just was creating filler, went for more a ambient feel. The song might be good for just background music though despite the second half.
Progress on the orchestral version meanwhile is slow, but you can see the most current draft here: pftq.com/cloudlessly/

Sheet music! (or midi)
I would definitely love some sheets for this or maybe just a midi so I could plug it into synthesia which would be easier >.< LOVE THIS SONG WITH EVERYTHING. I don't play piano and not very coordinated but would love to learn this and just play whenever.
Very flattered ^_^ - thanks, if you're still interested in the sheet, just let me know via PM

I can fly!
I can seriously see myself flying when I close my eyes. I'm getting a feeling of freedom and peace, and that's kind of hard to find even in music. Excellent work!
Was thinking the same when I was playing it, thanks!

better then the computer
This sounds really well and the fact he did it from the piano and not from Fruity Loop makes it what it is. The natural sound a piano make cant be digitized and more song need to be natural like this
Thanks - I recorded it in FL but I get what you mean about the more natural feel - is probably the quantizing (perfect playing) of all the notes that seems fake sometimes.
