This was my original Peacock mix, which is longer hence "Big Peacock Mix" for my "Acid Doumbek".

A Doumbek is a Middle Eastern wine-glass/chalice shaped drum from ancient times, still used today in the Mediterranean areas, Middle East, Asia Minor, and Northern Africa.

This features 3 ancient rythms:

Arabian:
* Masmoudi
* Maqsum

Ancient Pharonic Egyptian:
*Saidi

I TIRE very much of the oh-so-popular Arabian Balleddi rhythm.

Techno tends to be either the 4/4 beat, or the 2-Step rhythm popular in Dubstep.

Since I love belly dance & Tribal Fusion, but also European (German) Rave culture, I have a deep LOVE for vintage Japanese Roland TB-303 Acid synthesizer machine sound, it's only natural for me to experiment.

I like to belly dance to the drum solo styles by the doumbek (see: belly dance drum solo) however, I also love Rave & Techno music... as dubstep is popular, but also Goth Industrial & Hip-Hop House music has squeezed it's way into Tribal Fusion belly dance... I wanted something that WAS NOT a 4/4 beat. Since I couldn't find any, I made my own. Also, I'm kinda getting sick of DARK or gloomy Halloweenish Goth stuff... I liked vintage 1990s German Rave which is hyper happy, yet hardcore, but like a free-love, happy, hyper, electronic hippie sort of way....

I focused mainly on the rhythm... no melodies... hence drum solo influence... but, kept it simple, and to a pattern.

Anyways, I'm still learning, and I haven't worked with sound editing/arrangement in a VERY long time. So, keep that in mind.

I would very much appreciate some constructive feedback.
