Starts off pretty slow, but give it time, and I guarantee that this flower blooms.

Cant find the words to describe

I listen to alot of music, I can always tell what the songs mean, but your song.... i cant fin the words to describe its meaning. I can only think of masterpiece, work of art and mysterious. I just want to listen to this song over and over again, I mean it never gets old, just like how Farplane said that the song told him what the world has and is becoming, to me the song is like telling a story, except you don;t see aything, you can tell what the story is like by the beats. I know what I'm saying must sound really weird, but anyways great jobs. 10/10

Gillenium responds:

Sounds like the song is a story all in itself! :D I'm glad I could drum up so many feelings in so many different people with this piece. When people can't describe how they're feeling while listening to the song, I've definitely done my job right. Music should be fresh and thought-provoking! Although that is one man's opinion... most of the folks on MTV would disagree with me :) Thanks for the review!

As the name says..... strange

Now I almost never review songs nowadays but this one I feel that I must....
We all know we get certain feelings when listening to songs but this one I just can't explain... it's like listening to it makes me think of what this world has and is becoming, so I want to stop it, yet there's something about it that makes me just keep listening to it. The main thing that started making me feel this way was getting the clockwork orange trophy in the factory level on Mindscape... something just triggered in my mind right then.
I know this all seems weird, I just can't explain what I feel when I listen to this, it's like a relieving despair... very strange.
But anyways, thanks for making this, it sounds great!

Gillenium responds:

Thanks for reviewing it :D

Sometimes, I just have a lot of meaning I want to put into a song, and I'm glad you absorbed probably the whole lot of it. My songs are usually based on how I feel after watching a movie, or playing a game, or a powerful experience. In the case of Why Birds Sleep Well, the whole series was based on my trip to Canaan Valley. Strange Petals is based on how I felt after watching the movie Adaptation. If you watch the movie, you can probably see a big connection (including the title of the song!)

factory

It sounds like it can be used in industrial-factory planet-ish flash.

Gillenium responds:

Good call. It was actually used in the factory level of the game Mindscape. :) Thanks for the review.

Nice!

This sounds so sweet. =) Harmony to the top. You're a skilled artist.
Got no critique to deliver, sorry. Hehe.

Take care!

Gillenium responds:

I like deceptive intros. I actually made a CD last year. It's been selling pretty well. If you're interested, just google "Gillenium" and "cdbaby" and you'll find it. It's on iTunes, too. Thanks for the review!
