Starts off pretty slow, but give it time, and I guarantee that this flower blooms.

Im gonna try to describe this song :)

First a lonelly tune till (0:27) ...then some clicks (pick pock pick pock pick pock (0:27)....then a sound that makes me think that im going up and down the stairs (that must be the petals going down)..silence part with someone saying "its 2 for me LA" <--I THINK then a smoke passes by leaving us thinking "is it coming back?" and it does come back(0:44) ......then a lonelly breathing starts (1:04) and so for it.... I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!

Thats it, all i can say. Wow. It starts off so smooth, you would mistake it for classical with a twist. Then it gets the beat coming, and it starts to sound more Industrial. So kick ass, i used it in a video. Great music!

"Yet another masterpiece"

date: January 6, 2008

You can make ambience like you breathing air it seems. I just got done playing a bit of game called Mass Effect....this would fit perfectly into the game. How do you capture this kind of music...what kind of inspiration do you use?

January 6, 2008

Author's Response:

Mass Effect... I've wanted to try that game. Is it good?

Inspiration, hmmmm, well this song came to me after watching the movie Adaptation (I think I explained this in a previous review but I'm too lazy to look). I think if you see that movie, you'll see where this song is coming from and what the title is all about. I base songs on all kinds of things - movies, games, scenery, experiences, you name it. Thanks for the review!

"I wouldn't be suprised if...."

more movies or games based on dreams featured this piece, its truly brilliant, and its a piece that reaches deep down, into the dark part of the psyche, and allows a breif glimmer of sight to which you can see that which was invisible. In short, this piece allows an easier understanding to dreams (or at least my dreams) as it acts as sort of a.....theme song if you will, having the corrects tones and melody to play the part. In short, this is truly a thought provoking piece, truly a mesmerizing pieces, truly true to all degrees of conciencness to be beautiful, thank you for the piece.

Wow, that was deeper than most Gillenium reviews get! Most reviews are like "Woohoo! Good song dudez! What programs do you use??" haha

I've actually been studying dreams some recently (this is why the title Dream Machine seemed like such a good idea when Kevin suggested it to me recently). I've been working on being able to control my dreams. It takes several steps and a long time to master though. You have to start with good dream recall. I can remember about 4 dreams a night now, which is way more than I used to remember..

But anyway, about the song - yeah, it took a while to make... There's an unbelievable number of layers on it. I'm glad you enjoyed! Thanks or the review
