Overall : 92

Originality:
It has a very interesting air to it. I don't think i've heard many songs with this kind of core, and you bring it to the table quite exceptionally.

Diversity:
The song has a really good number of sounds and effects going on and off everywhere. The sounds are used in diverse methods too, so that didn't hurt ^^.

Clarity:
There was absolutely no distortion in this song, no muddlement, nothing, so top marks for that.

Effort:
I can hear quite a fair bit of effort in this piece. The way there is something new given, and taken away so many times, and so effectively speaks of just that.

Melody:
3:06 -> I really enjoyed this part, that high pitched melody switch really was pleasent and I enjoyed it.

I absolutely adored how you started to song so softly with that melody, that part just set me in for the ride so well! Great.

Overall impression on me:
The song has a rather constant melody, there is variation of course, but there isn't enough change in my opinion. Now I know this is a Trance song, and Trance songs are not supposed to be shifting drastically left, right, and centre, but I felt that perhaps new synth sounds, maybe adding a new layer would have been appreciated.

The song had a truly powerful trance core to it. I almost fell into a coma, and my doctor told me to stop doing that X_x.

I think a triangle "ping" would have made this song a lot more powerful in the tone your trying to carry out. It has a serene, light feel to it, and having a simple triangle in my opinion would have added its own flavour.

I don't know why, but i'm constantly hearing this wind with a flute playing with this song... but thats just me, i'm a classical nutcase ^^.

Great stuff WiliamVance, thank you for joining the contest and giving us this piece!

"w00t!"

Originality: You used a pretty basic trance beat, but you spiced it up and mixed it in with the melodies very nicely.

Diversity: Pretty diverse, lol. I like how the melody intertwines with the bass eventually, it sounds terrific. Though it would be nice if the melody was changed up a little more. It has three variations, but those are also very similar.

-The drums are not that deep, and it would be nice to see those pumped up more. They would really add depth to the song, especially with some of the great fills that you had, although they were quiet.

-Finally, for this section, I like the transition to loop back to the beginning of the song, it really adds great flow and smoothness to the song.

Clarity: Once more, some of the great drum parts were not heard. In my opinion, that's like half the song. Otherwise, the rest of the song is great in its clarity : )

Effort: Lots of it!

-Great job, hope to see more from you!
