This song was pretty much my trial run of Mixcraft 5, and so it contains a whole bunch of different instruments that would not usually be found in the same song. I was just testing out the amount of variety in the software, and believe me there is LOTS.

I'm not really sure what genre this would fit into as it is a rather strange combination of instruments. It mixes everything including heavy drums, jazzy saxophone, bluesy harmonica, and even some upbeat synths to create a groovy mix that sounds so happy it can make you dance!

Anyway, enjoy, rate, and review if you desire!
Also, if anyone know what genre this would actually be, feel free to correct me :P

It's good idea

I like it, thought the mix of instruments is definently a little weird, I think it's cool that someones experimenting with music. I respect that.

Very refreshing, funky, and jazzy!

What a trip! The drums were great! 1:54 to 2:26 is probably my favorite part. Since this is just basically solos and variations of the same thing, it starts to get a little repetitive... But I appreciate your experimenting - it sounds like you are really mastering Mixcraft! Keep making music! This definitely shows promise!

SulfuricDonut responds:

Thanks man! There's definitively still so much more to Mixcraft than I've stuffed in this, and I plan on doing a bunch more new stuff.
And yeah... I noticed it got repetitive and so that's why I added the many-layered synth part with the epic drums, and after something like that there was really no option but to just end the song right there :P

I actually really like this, the melody is so damn catchy. I gotta say you did a pretty good job with this. Would love to hear more stuff like this in the future.
