Just a little loop I came up with on Sibelius 6 while having a boss theme in mind.
*shrugs* Nothing special, but eh, I thought it was good enough to be one of my first submissions.

Impressive, Young Grasshopper

I must say, for a beginner, this is a very impressive piece to open up with.

To be perfectly honest, I can't find any MAJOR faults with this song. I mean, the actual loop-ability is somewhat lacking, you can kind of tell when the song cuts back to the beginning. And the general quality of the song is reminiscent of "Evolution Worlds" or possibly "Okage: Shadow King" which I highly recommend as video games with spectacular story and gameplay for turn-based action.

Getting on to the actual sound of it, it DOES have that boss sound. I'm not sure if I would use it as a final boss theme myself, it sounds too refined for it to be used as that. With the organ and heavy brass it makes it sound like it would be for a boss with either a royal background, or one that is more refined, either to themselves or in general. Something like an insane military leader or an evil prince of darkness, etc.

However, it is a wonderful piece that can be quite infectious in the sound. It very effectively captures the essence of the "theme" by making it have an epic sound, with some great loop-ability, as it keeps itself in the background of the piece, so as not to distract the player from possibly the most important fight of the game so far. I congratulate you on a job well done with this first work, and although there are bugs, I think newgrounds may have found a new talent! Keep up the good work, and god speed on your next piece.

DUEL!

Good!

This is really good for being your first submission to the audio portal, congratulations!

It's very fitting, but, for me, it was repetitive, that's why i'm giving you an 8/10 and 4/5, but still...

Good job!

Metadata responds:

Heh, yeah, I know it's pretty repetitive... I might revise and remake it sooner or later, but for now I'm just gonna experiment with the program more. Thanks though!
