Brothers Arranged by Shanath

Anime: Full Metal Alchemist
Software: FL Studio, Audacity

I don't think I've ever arranged an anime song before so I thought this would be a nice change of pace. I've always loved this song and even though this version could never compare to the original since it doesn't have the wonderful vocals the original obviously has, I hope it brings some memories for you.

Hope you enjoy.

:EDIT: A few changes with the overall mastering/instruments and a less abrupt ending compared to the original one. Hope it sounds a bit better!

Bratja was, by far, my favorite music in Full Metal Alchemist Soundtrack. Despite some issues, this one was a lovely tribute. As pointed by others before me, the FL Studio default piano set slightly messed up your performace, the strings near the end sounded good, though. I would love to listen to a vocalized version, after your job with Okami's Reset, I believe you can do it... Maybe a english version of the song, or, if you are feeling brave enough, the original russian hahaha. Anyway, not your best work, but very good nonetheless. Kudos.

Shanath responds:

I've been wanting to remake this for a while so I'll be uploading a remastered version shortly. Hopefully it sounds a bit better than it does right now.

Thanks for the crit. :]

I recognized that FL Piano immediately

Other than that, it's perfect. I'm actually surprised that sound is so easy to recognize.I guess that's why you shouldn't use the default sounds; it sounds fine top non-producers, but is cheapened slightly for music producers.

If you know how to play the piano, you're probably better off recording the piano. Or you could get/make a new piano sound set.

Shanath responds:

I would probably do it if I had a way of recording it to my computer. Still, I agree with you and I should probably find decent VST's for it.

Thanks for taking the time to comment. :]
