WOW :O

You've gotten so much better since I've last stomped around your audio submissions, really impressive work here as well.

It sounds a little naked as it is now. it's missing that mid-high range.
Harmonic expanding would help fix that but I'm not sure about completely.

hmm.
nice work!

haha, thanks!

Just your first here?

Or your first overall? Because if this was a first, it'd blow every other first attempt out of the water.

I think I didn't master it well enough, though. The bass doesn't quite push through the mid ranges very well if at all =/

There are a lot of good aspects to this song!

The intro starts of strong. It flows through the song pretty well, although I liked it better on the second listen. I think what takes away from the song to me is that it sounds like there are only 2 tracks playing at one time, the drums and the bass... It just has a very stripped down feel. You might want to try experimenting with some chord progressions playing in the background, or some echoey/ambient sounds, etc. Just something to enhance the bassline and unite the song better. Great job on your first try! Keep practicing and spend time developing your sound!

SuperKirbyMaster responds:

Yeah, I know what you mean, but I felt like keeping it simple, thinking the pluck-y synth would be enough for the high-end aspect.
I'm glad you liked it, thanks for the advice!
