It sounds a little naked as it is now. it's missing that mid-high range.
Harmonic expanding would help fix that but I'm not sure about completely.

There are a lot of good aspects to this song!

The intro starts of strong. It flows through the song pretty well, although I liked it better on the second listen. I think what takes away from the song to me is that it sounds like there are only 2 tracks playing at one time, the drums and the bass... It just has a very stripped down feel. You might want to try experimenting with some chord progressions playing in the background, or some echoey/ambient sounds, etc. Just something to enhance the bassline and unite the song better. Great job on your first try! Keep practicing and spend time developing your sound!
