A "modern-ieval" song... I reckon this would sound pretty epic and perhaps more medieval if you arranged it for string quartet accompanied by harp (and replace snare with tambourine/cut out the bass drum). I would release the amazing tune I made out of this little theme experiment, but that was for a client, so I can't release it without his permission... eventually it'll come out.

Set as a loop it could be used as an intro or a tutorial piece for a midieval game. It reminds me of the scores used for the ambient soundtrack in the "Age of Empires" games. (AoE 1 and 2 of course, but specifically 2).

I do have a loop version that's extended and much more epic, but I can't put that up on Newgrounds for free use due to the terms of the piece with the person who commissioned it. :/

I am indeed a fan of the music for the Age of Empires franchise... I've been told several times that my music slightly reflects that. :)
