Made this a little while back. I named it Automaton because I could envision a robot dancing to this. I took it down but decided to resubmit it for robot day. Don't worry, it was made this year :)

edit: I felt like it was a little too repetitive so I went in and changed almost nothing. You'll notice some of drum rhythms have rests :p

edit edit: wooaahhh, robot day swag. sweet deal :)

It got better

Judging from the score and the first minute, I wasn't expecting that much. I guess I'm just so used to listening to songs that has scores of well over 4.30. This actually turned out to be a lot better than I thought. It isn't until around 1:21 that it really gets good. It's mostly because this is the time where the music starts to get creepier. It mostly struck me as weird before, but this was when it got into real emotion.

It could probably use more variety at first, but it's well worth the wait. I like how it just seems to be going all over the place with this music. You can get a sense of random things going on and just being shot out everywhere. It's simply a cool feeling. It could probably use some more variety after it reaches the good part, because it goes on a bit too long.

Quarl responds:

I completely agree with you/everyone else who has commented on the repetition but my lazy production habits make me the kind of guy who refuses to open up old project files to make them better :/

Really interesting

... and different from the rest. I like it, and I feel like I should kinda reward the effort and creativity with a higher rating, but it kind of gives me a headache, and it's still somewhat repetitive.

Quarl responds:

Thanks for the honest review sir. Despite not liking the song you were really nice about it. Thanks :)

I love it!, when the beat comes and you just make everything go crazy with that laser sound crossing from one speaker to the other, fuuuioooo fufufuoooofiiuu! you know what I mean. Nice piano, nice saxo, but I didn't like the intro, Anywayy good job!

Quarl responds:

lol, no one likes the intro :p

Interesting

Feeling the Industrial influence on this track, gotta say I'm liking it.

My one issue is that the composition isn't too good, there's really no proper structure to the song, and at times it just feels entirely random. Now; I'm guessing you want for this messy feel to the track, but you can still have some more structure to it. Listen to Eskmo, for example, messy and glitchy with a pretty clear structure.

I do like the addition of what sounds like some sort of trumpet at times, as well as the piano. It's just the whooshing synths got a bit too much and really took over the entire track at times.
