TERMINATOR DUBSTEP REMIX
Cool story Bjra
Maybe use the nasty ass sounds the Harvesters make? It's wonkey as fuuuu and heavey with teched out lfo. It'd be a cool extra sound to throw in and see what happens.
Good luck finding it though...
I've been looking forever, you may have to create it using sytrus and Wonkey. Idk. Good on you for the song, the weight of the "walking" was VERY nice. The touch of the scanning breaks was cool as shit too.
Girl: "You just can't go around killing people!"
Could be a bit better
Usually when I think of dubstep its usually remixing a song, so there would be the track in the back, with the modulation and stuff, and then adding the wobbles and synths and stuff. You mastered the wobbles and synths but you could probably work on the background track because not to be mean or anything, but it was lacking.
im high as fuck
I really love the bass in this.
It's music like this that makes me happy to have high quality headphones.
I read Jpbear's review and well first of all I think you responded quite well to his honest critique, it shows that you are willing to develop as a musician and I respect that. Lots of musicians can't stomach honest reviews.
In terms of the Beats, and the SFX etc, I love this.
I haven't listened to all of your music so I can't really say if I think you've done your best here or not. However I feel that the musical ideas you had could have been developed a lot more.
For instance, the ending was a bit weak, compared to the rest of the song. The intro was very good, it conveyed the sense of impending danger and I was drawn into the music immediately.
However, the ending seemed to kinda just fade off and didn't do the rest of the piece justice. I didn't feel like there was an ultimate climax, and considering this has a name like 'Terminator', I would have expected it to have gone out with a bang at least. Instead it sounds like the Terminator ran out of battery and died.
I feel that you could beef this up a bit more. Take that starting musical riff [The high pitched electronic sound] and develop it throughout the music, I feel that it could have been incorporated throughout the whole piece with great results, i.e you could easily have a very fast paced version of that riff playing alongside the bass, which would give more of a sense of speed/action.
Good work, I like what you have so far .. yet I feel that the Cherry on top is missing.. there is something more to this that is waiting to be discovered, something that has been left unsaid which is begging to be screamed out.
I think the bit I liked most was at 3:12. That was very smooth indeed.
Have fun, I hope my words are helpful.. if not -shrugs- :) Good luck!
