For a change the knight in shining armor comes to late, the people he was going to save from the dragon have been splashed across the lair like a bowl of boney soup, and just before any blow could be dealt the dragon has escaped to the other end of a broken bridge covering a huge gaping pit.
Powerless the knight stands within his ornate armor..
The dragon turns its neck around toward the knight and smiles, then flies off ultimately fading on the horizon.

I liked your pitch, it gave me an idea what you were going for, and I probably liked it more because of it.
The bad: There are some odd notes here and there, and sometimes maybe timing issues? I also felt it didn't really stand out, so much as blended in with nostalgia.
The good: It hit that nostalgia hammer but hard. Great job. It has a sense of performance too and didn't feel overly machine like.
I agree its not perfect, sometimes a tune just isnt 'magical' and sometimes it is.
I dont mind here and there making a 'decent' tune anyway, if all tunes had to be special then what would special be, right?

im never really demotivated by zero bombers, making music is pretty much like breathing for me.
