This is from a very early recording session, so the quality's not top notch. But we felt we needed to get SOMETHING up here on NG, so here it is. We have some newer stuff up now, better quality, so check it out, too! As always, reviews are welcome and encouraged, though I ask that you listen to the song before voting :D

That being said, enjoy "Never, Maybe, Forever," generally considered to be our most popular song, and much better heard live. Check out http://www.myspace.com/th emulligans for more music, showtimes, random crap, etc.

If Ska is dead, then just consider us necrophiles.

Edit: If you want to vote zero, I'd appreciate a review letting me know why. We get plenty of good reviews, and that's great, but we want to improve, so don't be afraid to get ugly!

"Not Ska, but good regardless"

date: October 31, 2009

Of course, I would say that about a lot of songs in this category, so it's a hollow fact. It's closer aligned with garage/indie rock and ska-punk, especially based on the drumming style and lack of piano/keyboards.

I must confess, I am a bit of a music nut.

Author's Response:

I'll agree, at this point in time (early 2006) we can honestly only very loosely be referred to as Ska. However, you're not allowed to judge based on our drum beats, because Jake is crazy and does whatever the heck he wants on the drums, regardless of what we're playing. :P

Hahaha, thanks for the review, mate!

"Song of my life!"

date: October 24, 2009

Dude, are you spying on me? This song is exactly my life in the past 3 years of high school. This song really makes my day. I was sick, staying home from school, and when I heard this song, I felt so much better and I started singing along. Congrats man, I know my #1 song on Newgrounds now.

You are awesome, and I'll be sure to let Brian know his lyrics have connected with you. Hi fives for righteousness!

Oh, and also, no. I quit spying on you about a month ago.

I just picked this song randomly cause i was interested in what ska is. The song's not bad, i guess ska's just not my type of music. Here's a 9 for a good song.

Well thanks! I appreciate people who can be open-minded and objective about music they're not really into. You are a gentleman and a scholar.

I would like to send my gratitudes to you, as that musical piece was a perfectly scintillating sound and a very catchy hook.

Author's Response:

Well thanks! For a LONG time (almost obnoxiously long) this was our "it" song. We have since written better stuff, though, so be sure to check out "Hurricanes and Tidal Waves!"
