Here goes:
I always hate posting a song like this; it's a classic Nintendo piece--Koji Kondo being the genius he is--and you get one shot at making it just right.
Most of my songs have harmonies in the background that really stand out; in this rendition of the classic, I chose to keep the melody forefront, because it pretty much speaks for itself. I also added a few little arrangements of my own (specifically in the middle), with a bridge that's completely original to bring us full circle into this loop that I can only hope lives up to the standards of the original that is...well.. just purely epic.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you "Bowser in the Dark World" from Super Mario 64.

UPDATE 6/10/10 20:09
Drums turned out a little softer than anticipated; I've gone in and corrected that. ^_^

Holy Crap. I loved Daft Punk; to put me in the same SENTENCE as them is a fantastic compliment. Thank you ^_^

Epic, beautiful and original. Simply speechless. At 0:26 the instrument did a great entrance and at 1:27 the piano was an excellent adition to the song feeling. So much power and harmony at the same time. Maybe this last thing is why I liked this remix so much. 6/5 If I could =) Keep the good work!

Absolutely amazing. the piano fill was perfect and the best part but, you could have toned that mixcraft sound a bit it kinda ruins the mood. Overall though 5/5 great work I would love to see more.

Thanks.
I'm glad you liked it regardless.

Thought it sounded familiar...the sounds i mean. Yeah, i used to use Mixcraft until my trial ran out, and now i use FL studio. The reverb on the piano at 1:31 was heavenly and amazing! Everything after that was also awesome! same with everything before 1:31 too..............in other words the whole song i amazing! great remix! one thing i would do though is have the bass levels a little higher.

ellebirdy23 responds:

I'm almost always against using the pre-made synths, but this time I really wanted to use that one. And I'm not trying to hide anything. I do use Mixcraft.

I do need to work on getting my Bass lines a little more prominent. I'll keep that in mind ^_^
