Weekly Tops list achieved, amazing! Thank you guys so much!

The guitars in this song are real... Not software instruments! If you don't believe me, I just put up a newspost including a picture of all my gear, check it out!

Version 3.0 of "A Taste Of..." is finally here!

Again, this is still a work in progress, so there is still mixing to be done, as well as tweaking to the drums and such.

Changes made:
-Added the next section of the song (Not the final section!)
-Beefed up the kick drum a bit to give it a little more presence in the song
-Turned the drums overall down a hair to compensate for the kick being louder
-Tweaked the volume of the staccato strings
-Upped the volume of the orchestra to bring it closer to the front of the track

Again, still a work in progress, there is more to come!

Hiya, Back-From-Purgatory, just writing this review to say I'd love to use this song in a video I'm actually creating as I write this review. I love the feel of this song and during the time of 2:30 - 2:40, that pause that was in there, instantly made me think of a part in my video that it'd fit perfectly. The Sorankar Gaming Team would love to use this piece, and of course we'll give you credit for creating such a wonderful piece. Due to NG licensing Terms of course the Video is noncommercial, and we earn no money off of our work, should the video get to a point where we can earn money off of it, I'll speak with you beforehand. Should you decide that you'd prefer we remove your song from it due to the commercial benefit, we shall do so. Please get back to us either by replying or by message!

Back-From-Purgatory responds:

As long as it's non-commercial and credit is given, go right ahead, and do please send me a link to the video once it's up. I love to see the stuff my music is used in.

What i love about this track is not is it well written its put together so well.

So often my reviews always involve a tip about bringing certain parts forward, adding some layer genreally paying more attention to dynamics.

But this is just perfect, (by my standards...) I really like the tone you get from your guitars aswell. Altogether, Youre now a fav...

Keep it up!

I dunno about perfect, but I'm glad you think so!

Good combination

Good combo f metal and orchestral elements. It's hard to do without making it sound too much like Rhapsody. That tends to happen to me everytime I try metal/symphonic.

Back-From-Purgatory responds:

Yeah, I like to think I have my own unique way of writing orchestral metal, and I hope to keep it that way. I don't like the idea of having my music constantly compared to stuff that already exists... I've had people comment on other stuff I've done saying I've invented a genre, I'd like to keep that up, even if creating a genre wasn't really my intention.

Thanks for the review!
